The Positive Behavior Support (PBS) team provides students with additional structure and organization they may need during their school day. By implementing school-wide positive behavior, a student achievement model, and individualized positive behavior support plans, students are taught to evaluate their behavioral efforts realistically.
While efficiently working off a point system, PBS helps students learn the value of sustaining their effort by recognizing positive and productive results.
Since integrating Positive Behavior Support throughout The Pathway School's various educational and support programs, many of our parents have found ways to adapt behavior support plans at home. This school and home collaboration and consistency are critical elements toward helping our students find success after graduating from The Pathway School.
